TOPEKA, KS (August 28, 2024) — On Tuesday, August 27, 2024, the Shawnee County District Court granted CoreFirst Bank and Trust declaratory judgment to sell the facilities at 3635 SW Chelsea Drive to the YMCA of Topeka. The decision is one step toward acquiring the building. It will take some time to work through all necessary steps before closing. In the interim, the YMCA of Topeka will continue normal operations, services, and programs to support our community.
TOPEKA, KS (August 9, 2024) — The YMCA of Topeka is thrilled to announce that it has been named the Best Gym/Fitness Center in Topeka by the community in the 2024 Community’s Choice Awards. This prestigious award is determined entirely by public vote, making it a true testament to the YMCA’s impact on the lives of Topeka residents.

The YMCA of Topeka will be closed for Independence Day but will re-open July 5th at our normal time.
In addition, we do not have any scheduled land or aquatic fitness classes this week to give our instructors a short break. We will return to our regularly scheduled classes next week.
